Unlike primary and secondary cleaners, specialty products do not share one universal installation position or cleaning action. Brush Cleaner
A powered rotating brush for removing fines and residue from ribbed, flighted, grooved or chevron belts. Brush type and configuration are selected to suit the belt surface and material condition.
Chevron Cleaner
Uses shock-absorbing arms and independent elastomer fingers to follow ribs, chevrons and cleats. Its segmented arrangement can also help prevent stringy material from accumulating around a continuous cleaner blade.
H2O Cleaner
A urethane secondary wiper that squeegees moisture and loosened residue from the belt. An optional spray nozzle can support wash-assisted cleaning where the conveyor arrangement permits.
Washbox™ Cleaning System
An enclosed, wash-assisted system that applies water to soften carryback before secondary cleaners remove it. Selection must account for water supply, drainage, containment and maintenance access.
High Temperature Cleaner
An all-steel cleaner with overlapping metal blades supported by spring arms for hot conveyor applications where conventional blade materials may be unsuitable.
Food Grade Cleaner
Configured for conveyors used in food processing and packaging applications, with modular polymer blades mounted on a stainless steel mainframe.
When a Specialised Cleaning Approach Is Required
Standard primary and secondary cleaners are designed around defined cleaning stages, but not every belt surface or operating condition suits a conventional continuous-blade arrangement.
A specialised cleaning approach may be required where:
- The belt has cleats, ribs, grooves, flights or another profiled surface.
- Moisture or softened carryback requires a squeegee or wash-assisted method.
- Operating temperatures exceed the suitable range of conventional cleaning components.
